Sunday the 30th of April 2006

I am so damn lazy..   Way too long since I've done any updates; Anyhoo, there are now many films in the pixelmash section - The entire Star Wars and Indiana Jones Trilogies, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, Aliens and Flash Gordon.  Enjoy!

Sunday the 18th of December 2005

Okay.. the websites back up and running after all of the problems of the last couple of months!  Predictably, theres a new section in the gallery - "Pixelmash Theatre".  Have fun.

Sunday the 23rd of October 2005

The worlds gone mad.  I posted something on b3ta yesterday morning; Star Wars Episode 4in 168k - Since then it's all gone a little insane; It's gone viral already - hot discussions about it at www.digg.com and made the front page of www.boingboing.net.  I'm getting dozens of e-mails about it (somebodies even gone to the trouble of putting sound effects and voices to it - I will host this if allowed; it's hilarious).  It's all taking a little while to sink in..

Saturday the 27th of August 2005

Loads more gallery entries spread across the website - have fun :)

Sunday the 31st of July 2005

Having just returned from a weeks holiday and having missed the internet, I'm back!  I've updated the galleries section with a good half a dozen pictures so.. enjoy!

Sunday the 19th of June 2005

God, how long has it been since I've posted anything to here?  Since that fateful last February post City of Heroes has gradually taken over my life... Code Reds now at the heady heights of level 39 and still going strong... Still, I've updated the gallery section with the odd post I've made over the past couple of months (nowhere near the quantity of output I was producing prior to CoH, but what the heck...).  Hope you're all well..!

Sunday the 13th of February 2005

What the hell.. Have a return of the blog for just once; I strongly recommend that you buy and subscribe to "City of Heroes", the fantastic multiplayer online superhero roleplay thingy - and if do, take a look out for the superhero Code Red on the UK defiant server.. Lets fight evil together...!

Monday the 21st of December 2004

Hell, I'll break the silence to wish anybody reading this a fantastic christmas and a happy new year - May the best of last year be the worst of the next, etc.  Don't overdo it and see you all next year when the new plans for this page come into fruition...  Have fun y'all.

Saturday the 16th of October 2004

Today will be the last day of the blog - reading over the entries, it appears in all honesty that I haven't got a great deal to say - (other than "Did some b3ta postings.  Can't sleep properly.  Went out somewhere") so expect something shortly to appear in its place thats a little more exciting.. take cares y'all, and I'll see you all in Hell..

Sunday the 10th of October 2004

Went out last night for my mate Jons birthday - a lovely meal at Akbars (IT'S A TRAP!) and then to the pub for a few quick drinks... 'Twas a good day all in all.  Matty-boy popped round so I can bore him making him watch me play Fable and a few short moments before he arrived I got another front page on b3ta.. Life is good!  Also yesterday hit the magical 2000 posts mark, and was pointed in the direction of a stats-page by mykeyboy in which I'm doing quite well (which really makes me think I shouldn't spend QUITE so much time on it) - http://www.b3ta.com/board_stats/users2.htm

Way too damn early on Friday the 8th of October, 2004

What in the name of all that is holy is wrong with me?  It's 4:12 a.m. in the morning, I've been up for about an hour - I'm absolutely exhausted but just can not sleep.  Oh well, at least it gives me adequate chance to update the website (which I do too infrequently these days!) and at least I have the day off today..

Saturday the 2nd of October, 2004

Well, its the big day today - Taras brother gets married and I'm grabbing a bit of time on the PC before its all systems go.. I'm on official camcorder duties, so hopefully a couple of grand should be forthcoming from (the infinitely improved) you've been framed...!

Over the worst of the hangover, Sunday the 19th of September (Official International Talk Like A Pirate Day)

Yaaaar!  A couple of things for ye week - firstly, I hit me magic 1500 points on b3ta..  Heres a little somethin' to screw your eyes up a treat..

It was also the 33rd birthday of me esteemed shipmate Matty Jones yesterday - he had a house party and it indeed contained much merriment and jollity and lashings of rum- Click on ye thumbnail below to see the little picture I did for him in his card.. Happy birthday, Matt, and a yo-ho-ho!

Earl-i in the morning of Saturday, the 11th of September

Early night last night as was absolutely knackered; a couple more posts in the gallery for you.  Hopefully be a few more throughout the course of today, provided the hummus levels begin to rise sufficiently.  By the way if since I started using b3ta I seem to be talking a lot of crap, you need to visit http://www.4rthur.com/dict.php?letter=num for the full b3ta glossary - you too can find out the relative values of woos, yays and houplas!  Anyway - PC is being caned at the moment; trying to do about 40 things at once, so catch you later... Yay!  Got another front page - It's a topical Sonny Bono gag which can be found in the "sick filth" area of the gallery.. and on another note, the lovely Withiel posted a picture based on my current b3ta username, which can be seen by clicking on the thumbnail below:

After being up since half four this morning on Saturday, the 4th of September

Woke up at the crack of dawn this morning, so thought I might as well get up.  I think I've done about four gallery postings today and also tidied them both up a bit.  The missus is vanishing off to Nottingham later to visit one of our friends Laura who has just had a little baby boy; Luke Oliver, weighing in at 6 pounds 11 ounces - so congratulations to mother and baby!  On another note, following a b3ta conversation with Mykeyboy today here's a picture he did for me..

The evening was spent carrying out "Mashed" and "Halo" merriment with Gary, Jon and Lee and I came back to b3ta to find Mykeyboy had gifted me with this:

Aw bless.

Before work on Friday the 3rd of September

Well,  woo, yay and houplah - another lovely weekend is on its way!  Having an exciting Mashed evening tomorrow night (and will maybe, maybe get to play a little Halo also.)  Ooh, didn't tell you - got a lovely new graphics card last Saturday (Geforce FX 5700 LE) and doubled the memory on my PC and doom3 now not only runs on my PC, but runs at a reasonable old rate.

Lovely lovely bank holiday morning on the 30th of August 2004

Well, went to see Black Celebration yesterday evening at Coundon Social club - they're a Depeche Mode tribute band, and proved to be absolutely great - Me and Tara were very impressed - got a bit of drinking done, a bit of dancing, you know the thing.  Quelle Surprise - posted some more things on b3ta.

Yay! Early Saturday morning (Bank Holiday weekend) on the 28th of August 2004

Well, a couple more posts yesterday evening (as well as catching the great Ricky Gervais Animals gig on Channel 4).   An exciting weekend ahead of a lovely house-warming today and a Depeche Mode tribute gig tomorrow evening...

Before work on the 27th of August 2004

Not much time; getting ready for work!  I've updated the posts in here (I was a bit behind in the gallery so there are about five or six things more to keep you entertained).  Will no doubt post a proper update tonight, so see you later.

Hungover next morning on the 22nd of August 2004

Well, the intention to pop out for a "quick one or two pints" last night ended up having a pint in Inspire and then clubbing for a couple of hours at the Coliseum with the lovely Jayne and Eileen (and more besides..).  Two things struck me about this club (which I haven't been to properly since I saw the Polyphonic Spree there a while back) which are as follows : 1- I should really retire from clubbing gracefully - I am way too hold, and 2 - every fucker gets their hair cut at Toni and Guy now.  People with what would have been perfectly lovely hairstyles had they not paid over the odds for some twat with scissors to wreak utter havoc upon them - the amount of floppy feathered hair would have put the sheepdogs at Crufts to shame.  "I respect my individuality so shall have my hair cut at Toni and Guy and look like everybody else on the bleeding planet".  Hoho!

Later on, the same day (21st August)

I shall speak in hushed tones of the ordeal that was todays Mage Knight battle.  Gary and myself received an absolute drubbing from Matt and Lee.  Still, however, this was quickly rectified by me getting my second even front page from b3ta.. Life still continues to be good.  Out to the pub this evening, so no doubt post something about that tomorrow through (what hopefully) promises to be a deep and heavy hangover.

Nearly nine o'clock on the morning of Saturday the twenty-first of August, year-of-our-lord 2004

Long long day yesterday - spent much of it doing the following activities; Posting on b3ta, tidying the house, washing bedding, etc.  Fascinating lifestyle I lead, really.  Anyway, got Gary, Matt and Lee coming round in about an hour and a bit for the start of the Mage Knight campaign.  Should be.. erm.. entertaining.

Early morning on the 20th of August 2004 with a lovely day off

Because you demanded it.. here's the link to the argument on dublin forums for your entertainment (see the entry for the 17th of August) - Click here and witness a poorly judged thread from an unliked forum member become a witless childish abuse session.  See, if you don't eat all your greens and study hard, this could happy to you.  Mental illness is a sad thing.  As I know a few b3tans come here, only fair to let you know what the "man" known as Dessik2002 thinks of you all (and FoldsFive who is me and BlueStar who is Tara) - and remember, to support him you can still get your t-shirts by clicking here.  Remember, evil prospers when good men do nothing - Hitler starting off by not liking internet smut and filth, you know.
